Terms and Conditions

  1. Definitions
    “Web Care Services” refers to any website hosting, maintenance, updates, security monitoring, SEO
    work or general website support provided by Tracey’s Web Care.
    “Client” means any individual or business purchasing services.
    “Hourly Work” means one-off fixes, repairs or tasks charged per hour.
  2. Minimum Commitment
    All monthly Web Care plans require a minimum 3 month commitment. After this period, the plan
    continues monthly.
  3. Cooling-Off Period
    Clients have a 14 day cooling-off period from sign-up. Completed work and hosting fees are
    non-refundable.
  4. Cancellation
    After 3 months, clients may cancel anytime with 14 days’ notice. No refunds for part months.
  5. Deposits for Hourly Work
    One off fixes require a 50% deposit upfront. Remaining balance due upon completion.
  6. Estimates & Timeframes
    Time estimates are approximate. Any increase in time will be communicated before continuing.
  7. Hourly Work Includes
    Plugin fixes, broken layout repairs, downtime issues, booking issues, speed fixes, DNS and hosting
    issues, small edits, security fixes. Excludes full rebuilds/redesigns.
  8. Hosting
    Hosting is included in Web Care plans. Clients do not receive Hostinger access for security reasons.
  9. Access Requirements
    Clients must provide necessary logins (WordPress, domain provider, booking systems, etc.). Delays
    may affect timelines.
  10. Fair Use
    Monthly plans include small edits, fixes, updates, backups, security, and SEO (Tier 2). Large structural
    changes are excluded and billed separately.
  11. Liability
    Tracey is not responsible for plugin failures, hosting outages, client edits, third-party changes, or issues
    caused by other developers.
  12. Payments
    Monthly plans are paid in advance. Hourly work: 50% upfront, remainder on completion. Invoices due
    within 7 days.
  13. Termination by Tracey
    Services may end due to non-payment, abusive behaviour, withheld access, or unreasonable requests.
    Notice will be given where possible.
  14. Communication
    Communication is via email or messaging. Urgent issues prioritised where possible.
  15. Agreement
    By using Web Care services, the client agrees to these Terms & Conditions
